Summit Acupuncture Services is a proud member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). The ear acupuncture treatment protocol created by Michael Smith MD almost 45 years ago is elegant in its simplicity and effectiveness.

This protocol treats stress, cravings, insomnia, pain, PTSD, depression, anxiety and more. It is being used at Walter Reed Army Hospital and is part of the curriculum at Yale Medical School in the Psychiatry Department. This is one of the many treatments offered at Summit Acupuncture and is particularly well-suited to the community  environment.

The NADA Protocol is the starting point of most of the mental and behavioral health treatments I do, combined with acupuncture treatment to address any underlying physical conditions. I’ve found the NADA Protocol with body acupuncture is most effective and yields the best outcomes for patients.

I treat people for stress every day, along with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, withdrawal symptoms, and more. You will find our practice to be a safe and comfortable place to start working on these difficult issues.
